David E. Harris, CPA, CTRS, CGMA
David E. Harris has been a CPA since December of 1977. He is a graduate of California State University, Fresno where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Accountancy option.
He has earned the designation of Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS) as awarded by the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers. He has also earned the designation of Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) as awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
In addition to his extensive accounting experience, David has also served as an expert witness testifying in numerous trials. He is an active member of the community, and over the years has held leadership roles in the Fansler Foundation, Fresno Estate Planning Council, Fresno Greater San Joaquin Valley Junior Golf Foundation, and the Fort Washington Golf and Country Club. David holds many professional memberships, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), Fresno Estate Planning Council, and the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS).
In his personal life, David has been married for 40 years, and has two sons and two grandsons. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, playing golf, and studying the French language. David has traveled extensively during his life. He has driven across the United States twice, lived in Texas, Japan, California and Maryland. His travels include trips to Hawaii, Mexico, Canada, England, France, Italy, Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia.
